English II

Agenda:

1. Put phone away. Your choices are to hang it in the charging pocket holder or in your bag. Phones should not be out or visible during class.
2. We will read for 10 minutes.  After the timer goes off, please mark in your Reading Chart how many pages you read.
3. After reading, go to your writing section. We will write for 5 minutes and share for 5 minutes. Today's prompt is: 
   
4. After writing, go to Vocabulary.com.  The link to join my class is in Google Classroom. We will practice vocabulary for 5 minutes. 
5. We will take notes on RACES writing formatting.  Put this in your Notes section.
6. Lastly, you will work with your partner finishing your Literary Lens Workbook assignment.(3rd & 4th).
7. If you finish early, work on: Quill, IXL, reading, or Actively Learn due Thursday.

Homework:

1. Body Biography for your Trial Novel will be presented Tuesday, January 14. Assigned in November.
2. Literary Lens or Critical Literary Theory Workbook presentation on Wednesday, January 15.
3. Stems Quiz on List #31 Tuesday, January 28. Must memorize and spell correctly all items in the () on the sheet or use the Quizlet app.
4. Actively Learn Article due Thursday, January 16 @ 3:45pm
5. IXL  (Use your Clever/NCEdCloud log in to access) Diagnostic due Jan. 24
6. Quill (Begin working on the 3 diagnostics)- each due date is posted in Quill.
