English II: Honors

Agenda

1. Put phone away. Your choices are to hang it in the charging pocket holder or in your bag. Phones should not be out or visible during class.
2. Turn in Chevy precis to the front metal basket.  Make sure you did NOT use "THIS SHOWS" anywhere in your paragraph. If it is not acceptable, you will rewrite it.  
• No personal pronouns 
• No contractions
3. Stems Quiz #4
4. After your Stems Quiz, you will work on IXL for 10 minutes. Begin with 53Y (shortcut code). When you finish logging 10 minutes of work time, you may then work on your PAPA Artistic Square assignment. 
• Please turn in a link to your commercial on the assignment for us to watch as you present tomorrow.
5. When everyone is finished with the Stems Quiz, we will quickly complete a Sentence Combining Practice in the Writing Section of your Notebook. 
6. At the end of class we will READ: 10 minutes
• If you need a new book to read, check out my closet with some novels. 
• OR use the library to digitally check out books using your WOW card.

1. Quill #4 is due Feb. 19 @ 3:45pm
2. CommonLit: due February 20 @ 3:45pm
3. PAPA Square Commercial is due Wednesday February 19 at the beginning of class. 
4. IRP Essay due February 20, 2020:: When you walk into class.
