Welcome to English II.
English II focuses on World Literature, rhetorical elements, critical literary theories, and preparing our students for college English beginning Junior year. Below, I will outline a basic suggested schedule for students to follow each week. Due dates will change as needed. Links should be available and active. If a link is broken, please let me know.

- Complete Remote Attendance.
- Review Module 1.
- Watch the syllabus video.
- Pick a novel to read in class for SSR (Sustained Silent Reading) time. Can read a digital book through WOW card.
- Make sure you are signed up for:
- Quill [due 1/13.] (through Clever)
- Vocabulary [due 1/13.] (through Clever)
- Read Theory [due 1/12.] (use correct code)
- Actively Learn [due 1/15.] (through Canvas)
- VOICE & Text Fail Warm up [due 1/13.] (in Writer's Notebook)
- Have a book to read.
- In class lesson on Annotating a Text & Literary Analysis & Critical Theories.
