  1. While reviewing Stems List #32 with the class (student-led), I will roam and check that you completed your homework. Homework is due at the beginning of class. 
    • -5 minutes
    • If you were absent, pick up a packet. You will also need to set up a time to make up your quiz before 3 days have passed.
  2. Blending Quotes Notes- ICE format
    • SIN2017TOC (Continue to check and update according to my TOC) 
    • -20 minutes
  3. In small groups, 
    • Assign a group Leader.  Leader will share his/her information on page 1 first.  Other members will share.  Leader will determine order. 
    • When finished, Leader raises his/her hand. As a class, we will review page 1 together.
    • In a group, you will Review the following pages together.  Leader ONLY- you will open the KEY and confirm/deny what is shared.
    • Review the information from your literary theory partners.
    • -30 minutes
  4. You will move to new groups (1 of each critical theory lens) and share your information.  Within the group, pair off. In pairs, take turns sharing information with one another. Rotate as needed. (jigsaw

  5. Homework
    • Based on today’s discussion of the images in the text of Little Red Riding Hood it is probable that this story is saying more than we should be afraid of wolves. 
    • So, what is this text saying about danger? Try to use one the literary theories you’ve been introduced to formulate your claim so that your thoughts are focused.  Do not mention the literary theory in your paragraphs.  We should be able to pinpoint your style without your direct assertion. 
    • Write a response using textual evidence: ICE. Min. 2 paragraphs & 2 blended quotes
  6. Remember to add your ReadTheory username to the Google Doc in Classroom.  If your name is struck out, then log in to your ReadTheory account and accept my invitation.

  5. Homework: Finish analyzing LRRH using assigned critical lens 
    • You do not have to complete all critical theories, only the 1 assigned to your group in class.
    • Quill Commas due Friday by the end of the school day= 3:45pm
