English II

Agenda:

1. Put phone away. Your choices are to hang it in the charging pocket holder or in your bag. Phones should not be out or visible during class.
2. Sign out assigned IRP novel. Writing portion due: February 20 in class for peer editing. Multimedia part due: March 5.
3. Review Stems List. Quiz #1 on January 28. 
4. Have homework and Close Reading packet out.
5. After finishing the packet, you and a partner (mostly everyone) will be assigned a reading and a literary theory.  You will work together to read the notes about the critical lens and complete the assignment on the digital workbook.  You will present together on Wednesday in class. 
6. Report cards sent home today.

Homework:

1. Begin working on close reading your text and reviewing the notes about your Critical Literary Theory
2. Body Biography for your Trial Novel will be presented Tuesday, January 14
3. Stems Quiz on List #31 Tuesday, January 28
