Do Now:
- Walk around the room and peruse the various titles that you did not get to view yesterday. You have 10 minutes to wander. When the timer goes off, return to your seat quickly and quietly.
- Complete the Warm Up on the screen: (U13) Word Choice #4 -only write your new sentences
Agenda:
- We will finish filling in your Plot diagram.
- Discuss Chapter 8 & 9- What would you have done in Elie's position with his father?
- Blackout Poetry & Rubric
- Swing Kids -We will watch the movie while you work on your Blackout Poem.
Closing:
- Essay topics- Organize your sticky notes. You will need them as we begin to plan your essay.
Homework:
- Review Stems List #34
- Work on the written portion of your IRP #1- Final draft due Thursday by 3:45pm
- CommonLit reading assignment due Friday
- Turn in Field Trips forms and $ to assigned people
