Do Now:

  1. Calm- Meditation "Breaking Bad Habits"
    • Have a seat and get comfortable.  We will begin a mindfulness meditation series today.  (20 mins)
  2. Pick up your constructed response. After our meditation, you will revise your paragraph on "Never Again."
  3. Quizlet Live practice for quiz tomorrow

    1. Get your Outline (W8), QQVS (L11), and Night out
    2. Today, you will finish your outline and begin your draft.
      • You may work with 1 partner or alone.
    3. Tomorrow, you will draft your essay in formal format.
      • Wednesday, you will finalize, and submit your essay.

        Closing:

        • Essay topics- What do you need to finish for homework tonight?
        Homework:
        • Review Stems List #34
        • Work on the written portion of your IRP #1- Final draft due Thursday by 3:45pm 
        • CommonLit reading assignment due Friday
        • Turn in Field Trips forms and $ to assigned people
